Starting with performance art of the 1970s, this exhibition shows how music and dance, staged photography and film, theatricality and the spectacle of performance infuse vitality into contemporary Australian art.
The participating artists are Philip Brophy, Jon Campbell, Rose Farrell and George Parkin, The Kingpins, Magda Matwiejew, Jill Orr, Deborah Paauwe, Polixeni Papapetrou, Mike Parr, Alexia Sinclair, Darren Sylvester, Linda Tegg, Anne Scott Wilson and Judith Wright.
